All studies show that the Internet is by far and away the best way to get your business found. In 2010, online ad revenue surpassed print ad revenue for the first time in history!

And while there are many new, exciting ways to get found–mobile devices, online video marketing, social media, blogging–the most popular way to search for the products and serviced we need is on Google. So the best way to grow your business is with Search Engine Optimization.

For instance, 93.1 of all Americans see Google advertisements! That is an amazing stat. What does it mean? That the best exposure you can get is on the Google’s search results. You can do this one of two ways. You can devise a targeted Pay Per Click advertising campaign, ideally by hiring marketing experts to construct a Google Adwords campaign for you. Or you can use SEO services to get your website to the top of the organic results for your chosen keywords.

The benefit of using SEO to get top rankings organically? There are two big ones. First, most people take an organic result more seriously because it is an endorsement from Google that you have a good and relevant website. Second, getting organic results only costs you the SEO services you pay for. So if you get to the top of the results, you’ll get as many free click as you can. PPC, while very effective if targeted, can be quite costly.

Now, Facebook ads reach 72.3% of Americans. That’s a very high number, too. But with all the focus on social media marketing, it is important to remember that people are more likely to find new businesses on Google than any other place.

In fact, 40% more of US adults say they use Google than Facebook. So by every measurement, Google is still the most popular way to find the things we need.

This means that the core of your Internet marketing strategy must be SEO. To use the web to grow your business, you need a strong SEO company that gets your business found by people likely to convert. This means your SEO company must use the best keyword research and selection to get you found by the target market looking for your products or services.
