It is becoming easier for brand pages to track fan interaction when it comes to their posts. Facebook has recently launched a new feature that has been slowly rolling out for certain users showing the percentage of brand page fans who saw a post and also the percentage for fans who Liked a recent post by a brand.
Earlier in the year Facebook announced that an average post from a brand page only reaches 16% of fans. The new feature is beneficial for brands to see which type of posts are reaching fans more.
The new feature for brand pages shows organic and viral responses. The more analytics that Facebook starts to show means that advertisers can track their ROI more easily. As time goes on, it will be interesting to see what else Facebook comes out for brand pages.
As of now, this feature is only available to brand pages.
