By now, your Facebook business Page should already be set up for the Timeline, but now Facebook is making another small change that shouldn’t require you to make any changes with one exception.
Facebook is changing the size of your business profile image to 160 x 160 pixels from 180 x 180 pixels. According to Facebook, the new size will sit at 23 pixels from the left and 210 pixels from the top of the Page. This shouldn’t really have an effect on your Page layout unless you have made sure that your profile image fits into the design of your cover photo. If that’s the case, then it shouldn’t be that difficult to fix.
Luckily, Facebook sent out a statement ahead of time to give Page administrators time to make the necessary changes before the profile pictures change happens on April 26th.
The statement Facebook released says:
On April 26, we will be updating the size of the profile picture on all Pages. We are letting you know about this small change in advance so that you can update your profile picture on April 26. The new profile picture will be 160 x 160 pixels and will sit at 23 pixels from the left and 210 pixels from the top of the Page
The good thing about the Facebook profile picture change is that it keeps business Pages on their feet and gives you the chance to change up your Cover Photo as well.
